Description: Just as the previous few years we brewed a doppelbock to accompany our classic autumn special, the IJbok. The base is always a solid amount of malt but otherwise this seasonal heavyweight has a different recipe every year. This time, we opted for outspoken malt varieties to define its character. The use of Munchener malt results in its full, malty flavor, whereas the German rauch malt deepens its complexity. This is a beer with a smoky edge and as strong as you like it to be in stormy weather.
