Description: Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, and this beer is all about imitation. The temptation to use beer as a medium to copy other foods or beverages is often hard to ignore (see: candy bar stouts) but is just as often ill-advised. This beer, however, seemed like an opportune time to break out the copycat skills — could we get a beer to show off barrel aging, honey, lemon, and gin botanicals all at once? Only one way to find out. Inspired by the barrel-aged Bee’s Knees cocktail at Marvel Bar, this beer was built ground-up with the help of their talented bar staff.
