Black Barn Program No. 22 | Maine Beer Company
ABV: 6.3%
Style: IPA - American
Actively Produced
Description: Over two years ago, we brewed a Single Hop test batch with Cashmere hops. This particular hop quickly stood out, with its delicate notes of lemon, peach, melon, and pineapple. We decided to make a recipe that would showcase this hop, and found that it blended well with Amarillo as a background hop. The recipe for Black Barn Program No. 22 is designed to be a lighter, less bitter, easy drinking summertime IPA. The delightful pair of hops is combined with a healthy backbone of specialty malts for body, with 45% of the total malt bill coming from our friends at Blue Ox Malthouse in Lisbon Falls, ME. Cheers to summer in Maine!
