Description: Swill Beer is a team effort but combines Tonya's track record with berliner-weisse with last summers breakout summer beer hit Radler's. Traditionally in Germany a Radler is a blend of a light Lager and Lemon Soda. Recently Hopworks and Deschutes have put out their own spins on it but last summer Stiegl's Grapefruit Radler seemed all the rage around Portland. Too me it was a bit too soda pop sweet but still refreshing. This brings me to 10 Barrel Brewing's Swill Beer. Tonya Cornett tells me, "The base is grapefruit infused Berliner-Weisse with soda added. The ABV is 4.5% and the IBUs are around 13. It is more beer and less soda than the traditional radler which makes for a great summer beer. "
