Held for 30 months in Catoctin Creek Organic Rye Whiskey barrels, the extended aging imparts unrivaled aromas of oak plank, vanilla, dark toffee and pipe tobacco. The taste matches the complex aroma: pleasingly sweet caramel malt and toasted almonds coupled with hints of vanilla and marzipan. Chewy and full-bodied, Beerline Barleywine finishes with a mild alcohol warmth.
