Description: Barrel-aged. On a cold December afternoon, we teamed up with our friends from Varietal Beer Company to brew a simple farmhouse ale with an aromatic blend of wheat and rye from Mecca Grade Estate Malt. After cooling naturally overnight, we sent this beer into four freshly dumped red wine barrels with a touch of our native yeast culture. Nearly a year later, we selected this single barrel to showcase an inviting interplay of vineous oak, estate-grown malts, and the delicate microflora of the Klickitat Valley.
