Description: Matryoshka 2020 aged in Maple Bourbon barrels. Maple and Coffee were added as the adjuncts in this series of unfolding, decadent stouts. This Russian Imperial Stout emerges with a graceful and delicate intensity, yet remains strong enough for the Siberian winters. Matryoshka is the Russian name for wooden nesting dolls. And like those dolls, this barrel aged series releases in increasingly smaller and more elaborate variations. Look for Bourbon Barrel Matryoshka 2020 around the Pacific Northwest at the start of winter, followed by several smaller batch variations releasing at Fort George's The Aftermath - the day after the Festival of Dark Arts.
