Description: For this version of our favorite barleywine, we’ve aged the beer in pinot noir barrels from Patricia Green Cellars, located in Oregon’s Willamette Valley, which is regarded worldwide as delivering the highest quality pinot noir. Patricia Green crafts beautiful pinot using grapes from the best vineyards in the valley. The always-present sweet caramel, vanilla, and toffee notes of Old Embalmer are accented by tannic and vinous characters gained from the wine barrels, as well as the dry finish, all accented by an assertive does of X-431 hops.
