Demi-Jaune | Boatrocker Brewers & Distillers
ABV: 8.6%
Style: Grape Ale - Other
Actively Produced
Description: Demi-Jaune is a collaboration wild ale with Crittenden Estate winery and their winemaker Matt Campbell. Two years ago we made a beast of a beer using Savagnin grapes (pronounced Sah-vah-NYANH, and not to be confused with Sauvignon) so we leapt at the chance to make a wild ale using their Savagnin marc again. This time Matt squeezed the grapes a little more, and we left the beer on the marc a little longer. The result is a slightly lower abv, but with a wonderful grape character.
