Description: The untimely passing of our friend, August, will forever change who we are as individuals and as a company. To honor our great friend, we have created a new series that will continue as long as we continue to brew. Every year Zack and Stefan go through every barrel aged beer and choose the one they think August would have liked the most. This year’s choice is an imperial brown ale brewed with bourbon-soaked figs and dates and was aged in a brown sugar rum barrel for 10 months. This monster of a base beer maintained a lot of its robust character during the aging process and has blended incredibly well with the sweetness of the brown sugar and the heat of the rum alcohol.
