La Trappe Isid'or | Bierbrouwerij De Koningshoeven
ABV: 7.5%
IBU: 27
Style: Belgian Strong Golden Ale
Actively Produced
Description: Amber-coloured Trappist ale with a broken white head. A lovely combination of herbal, floral and fruity aromas. La Trappe Isid’or was first brewed in 2009 on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of The Koningshoeven Brewery. The harmonious taste starts off fruity and shifts to malty caramel. A perfectly balanced ale. The ale is named after Brother Isidorus, the abbey's first brewer. The aftertaste is pleasantly bitter.
