Description: Vote Sepp - The unofficial World Cup bid for Scotland 2022 Today (26th June 2014) we officially launch our unofficial bid for Scotland to host the World Cup in 2022 with the unveiling of Vote Sepp, an incorruptible hibiscus wit beer in honour of our tireless football führer, Mr Blatter. Best served from brown paper envelopes to aid drinking with greased palms, one sip of this beer and Sepp will be putty in our hands. Vote Sepp is a single hop wheat beer brewed to a session strength, with hibiscus flower, which gives it an impressively vibrant shade of pink. On the nose there’s a light bready malt note, with big floral character from the hibiscus, with hints of cranberry and raspberry too. On the palate, the hibiscus brings a hugely refreshing tartness, alongside a modest tropical fruit note from the Motueka. The wheat gives a smooth body, which combines with the effervescence and the hibiscus flavour and makes this a thirst-quenching summery session beer. What Vote Sepp lacks in complexity, it more than makes up for in a perfect balance of tartness, bitterness and body.
