Tea Clipper | Itchen Valley Brewery

ABV: 4.2%
Style: English Bitter
Description: Sadly tea reaches our shores by less beautiful means these day but the tea clipper still holds the imagination as part of our maritime history. As coppers are basically giant kettles we rather like the idea of using tea for a brew. And we don’t skimp on the tea poured into this one. Cylon Darjeeling is our preferred choice (we’re aspiring to be posh). The tea adds bitterness in a different way to hops – though of course we use plentea of those too (Progress). Smooth and deeply satisfying, even in the morning.
