Description: In a nod to our 19th century brewing traditions, this limited edition beer was barrel-aged and naturally cooled in our historic ice caves located deep below our 1860s brewery. Before the days of refrigeration, our caves were used to keep the beer cool during the lagering process and today they still can serve that same purpose! Number 4 in the series, this batch was aged in bourbon barrels from Four Roses distillery and has hints of sweet caramel, oak, and vanilla.
