Description: Cucumber, Blood Orange and Pineapple are ingredients that are not normally used in brewing beer. At first this combination of ingredients may seem strange, but sometimes a misfit of ingredients blend together to make something deliciously unique. And that is what our brewers did. Brewed for as a competitive brew off with fellow brewer Tin Whiskers, these three ingredients were voted by local beer fans. A delicate blending together of the spicy fruitiness of Belgian yeast with both the Blood Orange/Pineapple and juicy hops create a truly fun and satisfying Belgian IPA. Pureed cucumber was added to the fermenting beer to create a fresh crisp aroma completing the trifecta of misfit ingredients. Sometimes being unusual is a good thing.
