Description: This decadent imperial stout was transferred to cognac barrels after a long primary fermentation. Aged for just over a year in the barrel, this velvety brew is one serious piece of work. Upgraded by our brewers this year to have a slightly lighter body and more pronounced barrel and original contents character. Tons of espresso and dark chocolate flavour, this wise ol' beast is exactly what you want in your life as the snowflakes (and your motivation to leave the house) begin to fall.
