Bidwell Wild uses unsold fruit (berries, peaches, and grapes) from the farmers as a source of wild yeast and bacteria instead of brewers yeast. The beer is aged approximately 2 years in wine barrels from Leonard Oakes Estate Winery. The 2020 version features red grape, strawberry, and other dark fruit notes, and is more like a robust red wine than previous iterations of this beer.
