Description: This beer began with meeting Alex Rosete and tasting his incredibly delicious organically farmed blueberries. The brewers wanted to truly showcase the fruit in a respectful manner and decided on brewing a strong French style saison weeks before the blueberries were picked and delivered. The base was then re-fermented atop hundreds of pounds of blueberries puréed in house at a rate of approximately one pound per gallon. The result is complex marriage of aromas of hay, lemon, and bright citrus. Flavors of blueberry punch with a tart finish and mild, satisfying alcohol warmth.
