Rye Steam Fritz | Black Forest Brew Haus (New York)

ABV: 0.0%
Style: California Common
Actively Produced
Description: In the 1800’s as a result of the popularity of lager beers in America every brewer wanted to produce lagers. Unfortunately, on the west coast ice was not available to keep the temperatures low and as a result steam beer was born, a beer made at warmer ale temperatures using lager yeast. Our version has 10% rye malt added to lend the beer a slight spiciness.
