This beer is based off of a turn of the century German style where the German brewers were trying to recreate an English style porter with German ingredients. This Brett-fermented porter is brewed with a German lager yeast and Brettanomyces yeast strain blended and then lagered like the Germans do to most of their beers, giving this beer the complexity of a porter with the funkyness of a brett beer, finishing clean like a German lager.
