Alban Farmhouse Red (2016) | Blackberry Farm Brewery
ABV: 6.3%
IBU: 15
Style: Sour - Flanders Red Ale
Out of Production
Description: In collaboration with Alban vineyards, who graciously shared their spent oak barrels for us to begin our barrel room in the summer of 2015. This release is a tart and refreshing style inspired by the Farmhouse ales of the Flanders region of Belgium, and was aged for one year in Alban red wine barrels, then blended with fresh beer at bottling to achieve a mix of tart acidity and oakiness balanced by dark fruit and subtle maltiness.
