Description: Brewed especially for GABS 2012 beer festival, this beer was only ever a limited release. Historically, steam beers (or California Commons) were brewed in California from the mid-19th century. Boatrocker’s beer showcases the new Wai-iti hops with this S.M.A.S.H (Single Malt & Single Hop) beer. It’s not a hop monster in terms of bitterness but there is plenty of citrus (mainly mandarin) aroma and flavour.
