Muspalus | The Bruery Terreux
ABV: 5.64%
Style: Sour - Other
Actively Produced
Description: Here’s a collaboration that rolled a great distance from the loquat tree. Picked by our friends at NOLA Brewing Company in the Treme area of New Orleans, Muspalus is an oak-aged sour blonde ale featuring 150 lbs. of muspalus (or loquats or Japanese plums) that refermented in the barrel. NOLA drove the fruit from New Orleans to Anaheim, and packed a separate ice chest with crawfish for our first annual crawfish boil at Bruery Terreux. While the food preparations were underway, friends and family rolled up their sleeves to process the fruit. We then rolled up our sleeves a little bit more for some crawfish and alligator sauce piquante. As our friends and family come together for the grand opening of the Bruery Terreux Tasting Room, we couldn’t think of a more fitting release to share.
