Foundry Torpedo | Canterbury Brewers
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: 48
Style: Bitter - Session / Ordinary
Actively Produced
Description: In 1794 the royal navy commissioned the foundry, that's now our home, to forge a new kind of naval weapon. Six months later on its maiden voyage a (partly) successful trial concluded with widespread damage in the pretty seaside village of Herne Bay, and the torpedo was born. Sharing our brewing space with such history has inspired us to brew an explosive beer packing a punch of American Cascade and British Bramling Cross hops. Amber coloured and unashamedly bitter.
