Description: Boughs of Barley is for celebrating the season in all its glory. We brewed up a special Belgian-Style Dark Ale to lay down for ten months in freshly-emptied Kentucky Bourbon barrels which imparted a strong vanilla sweetness that wasn't present before. Boughs of Barley 2017 has a depth of flavors that can only come with extended aging in spirit barrels.
