Description: This beer is a new school testament to the tradition of brewing beer with grapes. Batch #3 is a blend of 20% Grenache Blanc, 20% Chardonnay from Mer Soleil Vineyard in Santa Lucia Highlands with 60% pilsner malt. We used Summit hops age 6 years and fermented with a blend of wine and lager yeast. This liquid highlights the flavors that beer and wine share. A collaboration by longtime friends, wine maker Charlie Wagner and brewmaster Evan Weinberg.
