Description: Scotch Ales are strong ales, also known as "Wee Heavy." In 19th century Scotland these ales traditionally went through a long boil in the kettle for a rich caramelization of the wort. Scotch ales tend to be big, meaty beers - in ours we use generous portions of Golden Promise, caramel malts, and a little roasted barley. Liberty and Mt Hood hops balance out the malt.
