Description: This red farmhouse ale was inspired by a hike down the Scout Camp Trail in the Deschutes River Canyon. We used commercial ingredients of rye malt and rosehips which we saw during our hike. Primary fermentation used a Belgian saison yeast with secondary fermentation using Brettanomyces. The wild and scenic area we hiked through was the inspiration for the use of the wild yeast.
