Ananas-anator | Eight Bridges Brewing
ABV: 8.7%
IBU: 83
Style: IPA - Imperial / Double
Actively Produced
Description: Brewed with American grown and malted pale ale malt, Columbus hops, and then a huge dose of Denali in both the end of the boil and as a dry hop. This yields a slightly malty beer with big pineapple aromas and flavors. The name comes from the word most other languages use for pineapple, ananas. The ending, -ananator, is a play from what the Germans use to describe a beer that is stronger. Double bocks are traditionally named something that ends in -ator. So this is a strong pineapple beer, yet there is no actual pineapple in it.
