Description: Summer 2012/2013 White Label release Let the Brewcrew loose and this is what happens…. We’ve taken the best of our Belgian pale ale recipes and opened the US hop bags – after the hop dust settled in the brewhouse we stood back and Laughing Monk was the outcome! The combination of a US style IPA and a Belgian yeast in one glass has become a popular theme in the US and we can see why. The typical clove, fruity/estery Belgian aromas are joined by spicy, grassy hop notes from the dry hopping. Assertive bitterness expected from an IPA certainly drives the clean finish but there’s something else going on that is hard to nail down and that’s the allure of this beer. This is a very limited White Label release.
