Description: Amalgamation Blend 2 takes one part Imperial stout aged in a ruby port butt for just over 38 months and blends it with one part 55 month old Woodford Reserve barrel aged barleywine for the latest in the project. Amalgamation Blend 2 has a medium body with aromas of dark caramel, chocolate-covered figs, dark berries, and roasted coffee. Complex flavors of deep chocolate, raisinets, caramel toffee, fig newtons, and cold brew lead into what is a coalescence of luxurious flavors with kisses of barrel character, subtle heat, wine tannins, toasted sugar, and melted caramel. Not overly sweet with a big barrel presence, let this one slowly warm when you enjoy it for the perfect amalgamation of flavors.
