Description: Last year we took our Life Before Death Star base and filled a maple bourbon barrel from our friends at Taconic Distillery. After a year of metamorphosis, we conditioned this viscous imperial stout on Maple Syrup, Marshmallows, Mostra Kinetic Energy Blend Coffee, Cacao Nibs from Exquisito Chocolates in Miami Florida, and a touch of lactose. Aromas of brownie batter and freshly brewed coffee drizzled with Vermont maple syrup lead into dynamic flavors of chocolate cake batter infused with cold brew coffee, Maple Buttercream frosting, smooth caramel Rolos, a hint of dark fruit, and a really warm baking spice note from the cacao nibs. This delicious flavor profile is pulled together by a complementary coffee backbone and an oaky vanilla tannin.
