Description: We took our blended American wild ale and let it sit in Pinto Grigio barrels for just over 13 months. Shared Space started off with brewing two separate bases that could be thought of as cousins of Austin and TABA and then added additional strains of brettanomyces before letting the barrel metamorphosis begin. Barrel Aged Shared Space Pinto Grigio pours a beautiful straw gold with aromas of lemon verbena, floral spice, and crushed almond. Delicate flavors of lime, Granny Smith apple, pie spice, and mild stone fruit lead into a vanilla creaminess from the oak. Complex earthy minerality, a very restrained acidity, and a touch of balanced tartness makes this beer elegant, sophisticated and a treat for beer and wine lovers alike.
