Arable | Fieldwork® Brewing Company
ABV: 5.0%
Style: Pale Ale - Belgian
Actively Produced
Description: Arable is our Voltron of a Belgian beer; starting with a classic Belgian Pale Ale grain bill, then adding in bright and aromatic new-school hops, and finishing it by fermenting with our house Brettanomyces blend. The nose is misleading, smelling of potent malt character, sweet fruits, and hints of fresh cut hay. As it splashes across your taste buds the wild yeast stomps across your palate with acres of hay bales, cut grass, and lemon peel. Dry cracker like malt character backs up the yeast esters and phenols to round out the flavor profile; with a very subtle hop finish with notes of lime zest and under ripened strawberries. Our Brett beers area labor of love, taking a long time to develop all of that funk and wild farm character.
