Description: County Line is a modern American reimagining of the original Farmhouse Ales of Belgium. In its inception, the Farmhouse Ale was a low alcohol beer brewed for farm workers with the sole intentions of refreshment and hydration. Channeling the dusty dirt roads in California's agricultural valleys, we brewed a lightweight 4% Farmhouse Ale that rings in a smidge higher than its Belgian ancestor; but this is America, and our farmers can handle their hooch! An ode to the heat quenching cup of lemonade from kids' stand down the road; we used all parts of the lemon in the brewing process to get a balance of lemon and acidity brightening up the profile and giving it that trademark taste of summer. Indian Coriander was used in the kettle for its unique Yellow Starburst-like flavor and to bridge the profiles of its malt backbone to the front and center lemon.
