Description: An ode to Jeff and his journey to letting his taste buds roam. BREAKTIME SURPRISE begins as a wonderful American Porter, sharing inviting notes of malty-roastiness, hints of chocolate and just a touch of hop character and then heads into the barrel. Mixed cultures get to work and slowly create a scrumptious souring. After a quiet year passes we transfer back to stainless to fruit the now soured-porter, on local blackberries, 3lbs/gallon. In the end we’re greeted with a very easy-drinking dark sour, balanced by notes of chocolate and berry. Cheers!
