Eutiner Lager | Free State Brewing Co.
ABV: 6.4%
IBU: 16
Style: Lager - Pale
Actively Produced
Description: (pronounced Oi-teen-er) This blonde German lager is a collaborative effort between Free State and St. Michaelis Brauhaus in Lawrence’s sister city, Eutin, Germany. It uses the same Weyerman malts from Bamberg, Germany that St. Michaelis uses and the recipe is an interpretation of one provided by Marcus Gutzeit, the brewer in Eutin. Eutiner Lager concentrates on the malt and not the hops, with only a single bittering hop addition. A slightly higher carbonation level provides a nice round mouthfeel to this clean, malty lager.
