AIKAU | Galway Bay Brewery
ABV: 4.5%
IBU: 35
Style: Red Ale - American Amber / Red
Actively Produced
Description: Brewers notes: "For this beer I stacked a few different specialty malts on top of a Maris Otter base. Malts like Munich, Amber, Crystal, Oats etc. Its a fun style to brew. For hopping I went for low bitterness & used lots of piney hops like Simcoe & Chinook in the whirlpool & dry hop. A good whack of Mosaic too. The malt & hops are really well balanced but I think the piney hops just win out at the finish. Its got a pleasant low bitterness, great aroma & a super sessionable 4.5% abv."
