Description: We all love cherry pie. What’s not to like? You have the sweetness and tartness of the cherries. Combine that with a nice bready pie crust and add in a just a touch of vanilla ice cream, you have yourself an amazing dessert. We decided that this could make an amazing beer. Our beer has a mellow malty sweetness that balances nicely with the tartness of all of those Oregon Cherries that we added. In the finish, the oak aging lends to a nice, round vanilla complexity.
