Description: Bourbon Barrel Aged Wild Ale with Blackberries. After Dominique (Belgian Ale aged in Bourbon Barrels with Lactobacillus) was done aging, the brewers snuck some of the beer off for aging with Blackberries. The berries were added directly to the barrel and yield a vibrant plum color and a dark fruit aroma. The coconut, vanilla and smokey aromas from the Bourbon Barrel blend into the flavors from the sour fermentation.
