Description: Little Chicken is one of our oldest recipes. It began it’s life as a second runnings beer off of the mash of the first batch of Big Chicken, just because there was enough sugar left in that mash to make a second beer! Like so many younger siblings ya though, Little Chicken was not content to be second in line. A base of 100% Golden Promise malt fermented with lager yeast at ale temperatures, this take on a California Common is brewed with new-wave German hops that lend both classic German grassy, cedary, alfalfa-y aromas but also bring the berries and melons. Drink more lagers.
