Description: We've taken our Black Perle while it was still young and fermenting and aged it in rye whiskey honey barrels locally sourced from Lakeville's Turkey Hill Apiary. The honey has adds a slight kick in both ABV and sweetness to this black ale that you do not get with the barrel alone. Look for a nice rye, vanilla, honey, and roasted character on both the nose and the palate that finishes smooth, with a bit of chocolate.
