Description: Luxury is a barrel aged imperial vanilla stout. While we've dabbled with using vanilla throughout a number of our different releases in the past, Luxury is our first foray into creating a barrel aged imperial stout with only vanilla and barrel. And we are quite pleased with the results. Luxury consists of imperial stout aged in a Heaven Hill Rye barrel blended with a couple Weller Wheated Bourbon barrel aged imperial stouts. For the vanilla addition we used the most vanilla we've ever used at close to 1lb/bbl, and formulated a thoughtful blend of three types of vanilla (Vanuatu, Comoros, and Uganda) that we think compliment each other really well, and give off notes of dark chocolate & burnt marshmallow.
