Description: This bad mother began as Vanilla Imperial Stout aged 22 months in Four Roses barrels, and Coco Van aged 18 months in Woodford Reserve barrels. After blending to taste, we let it rest for nearly two weeks on fresh additions of double-toasted coconut and fresh vanilla beans. You’ll initially be met with a strong aroma of oaky spirits, with the first sip instantly giving way to a blast of sweet, pillowy vanilla. Mid-sip the flavors swirl as the liquid warms, eventually covering the palate in a dense blanket of decadent coconut. As it goes down, you’re left with a gentle reminder of the extended time in barrels, with lingering bourbon-caramel character and mild heat.
