Description: Deux Amis (French for “Two Friends”), a unique collaboration with Monkey Paw Brewing, one of Karl Strauss’ oldest friends in the industry. A beer five years in the making, this barrel-aged wild ale is the perfect marriage of two complex and wild/funky beers: a strong ale aged for three years in French Boudreaux barrels by Monkey Paw and a sour from KARL aged for two years in American oak barrels. After careful blending with both teams, KARL was able to create a complex yet delightful beer that starts off with a wonderful nose that features, oak and wine-like aromas with a complex fruitines
