Description: Well, it happened. We brewed a Pale Stout. This unique style has gained a large following recently, and we just had to brew our own version. Traditionally stouts inherit their robust and roasted flavor profile from adding large amounts of highly kilned malts and roasted barley. Pale stouts, however, have none of these ingredients and instead rely on coffee & cocoa nibs to unearth those roasty chocolate flavors. Vanilla helps soften the profile and rounds out bitterness while also imitating reminiscent flavors traditionally picked up when barrel aging big Imperial stouts. Lactose along with flaked oats and barley bulk up the body of this pale stout, lending a creamy mouthfeel to this complex roast. We know this style may sound odd, but the
