Altbier | New Oberpfalz Brewing
ABV: 6.3%
IBU: 20
Style: Altbier - Traditional
Actively Produced
Description: This style of German Ale hails from the city of Dusseldorf, on the banks of the Rhine River, not far from the border with the Netherlands. Copper colored and malty with a slightly sulfuric, fruity nose. Cold fermented and balanced. Extremely drinkable, but packing considerable alcohol content, this Alt is “sticke” (German for “secret”) due to our brewers adding more malt than they should have.
