Sunshine IPA | Newstead Brewing Co.
ABV: 6.0%
IBU: 78
Style: IPA - American
Actively Produced
Description: Brisbane is oft thought of as the backwater of Australian craft brewing. Slow on the uptake, underdeveloped, unsophisticated. This is probably true but we can also smash out a tasty beer when it counts. We garnered the help of as many willing Brisbane Breweries as we could find and created an American IPA with loads of citrus and petroleum hop character over a toasted malt profile. Three new hop varieties Brooklyn, Azacca and HPA-035 were used, as well as malts from the newish craft malthouse Gladfields. We've taken an established style and made it something different with new ingredients.
