Description: Back in our Brew Master’s home-brew days, a temperature fault left a prominent green apple flavor in a what he had been intending on being a Wheat beer. While it wasn’t what he initially wanted, it lead to that most dangerous of dangerous things (known as thinking), and that thinking lead to a question: What would it taste like to mix a wheat beer with a cider? And so Loiter was born. This beer is a malty Heffeweizen at heart, but with a very healthy dose of pure apple juice added during the boil. The cinnamon and coriander mixed with the banana esters produced by the yeast give it a very pleasant nose that intermingles with the prominent smell of tart apples. It is malty and smooth with a mild grainy flavor that melds with the tart and tangy flavor of the apples to give you a smooth, easy drinking experience unique to Nighthawk Brewery.
