Description: We aged our powerful, malt-forward Doppelbock in a Buffalo Trace barrel for over 6 months. The beer, already rich in bready and caramel notes, picked up not only vanilla and toffee notes from the barrel, but even some maraschino cherry and candied apricot. The bourbon notes are rich but eminently smooth. A match made in heaven!
